Clean Ireland Recycling Tipperary Junior A Hurling Championship Semi-Final - Moycarkey-Borris 0-21 Toomevara 1-13

Moycarkey-Borris defeated Toomevara by 0-21 to 1-13 in the Clean Ireland Recycling Tipperary Junior A Hurling Championship Semi-Final on Saturday October 19th at Templemore.

Toomevara led at half-time by 1-8 to 0-9 but had Mark Grace sent off on the stroke of half-time. Moycarkey were made to battle all the way in the second half, taking the lead for good in the 48th minute and going on to score the last five points of the game to win by five. Toomevara saw Terry Dunne and Aidan Cahill receive their marching orders in second half injury time to finish the game with 12 players.

The Moycarkey-Borris team and scorers were as follows - John Kelly; Geoff Fallon, Gary O'Connell, Joseph O'Sullivan; Gerry Maguire, Eamon Flanagan, Mossy Bracken; Ger Carey, Brian Moran (0-2); Donie Bergin, Phil Kelly (0-1), Robert Doran (0-3); Pat Ralph (0-12, 0-11 frees), John Bergin (0-1), Niall Heffernan (0-1)
Subs: Aidan Maher (0-1) for Ger Carey (35th minute), Cathal Ryan for Donie Bergin (43rd minute), Robert Clancy for Robert Doran (60th minute)
