MOYCARKEY BORRIS GAA CLUB NOTES 16/09/18

Senior Club Fixtures

Our intermediate footballers lost out to Loughmore  Castliney last Tuesday night in Dr.Morris Park.

Juvenile fixtures

Our under 6s finished up on Saturday with a fun blitz with Ballingarry,Upperchurch  and Gortnahoe.Thanks to all the clubs that attended and to Pa and James Whealan and Tommy o Gorman for the great work they have done with the 6s over the year. Thanks also to Cooldine Construction who sponsored the 6s a new set of Jerseys which they wore with pride on Saturday.

Thanks to Borrisoleigh for hosting our under 10s at their Mick Prior Tournament on Sunday.

Our annual under 10  Paddy Cooney Tournament  is on Saturday 29th September.

Moycarkey Borris Ladies Football and Camoige Club.

Our ladies lost to Toomevara in the next round of Junior camogie last Saturday in Littleton.

Our under 14 camoige team had a good win over Holycross in the next round of the Autumn league.

Our under 12 camoige first team play Eire Og Annacarty  in the U12A County  League Final  on Wednesday 19th September at 6.15pm in the Ragg.They Defeated  Kilruane McDonaghs in their last match of the league rounds.

Our second u12 camoige team qualified for their Plate Final. A date and Opposition has yet to be deceided.

Moycarkey Borris Lip Sync Battle

 

Practice is well under way for our Lip Sync. Tickets will be on sale soon so keep  Saturday  27th October free for what promises to be a great night.

 

Lip Sync Fundraiser

On Saturday 6th October there will be a clothes collection in the club rooms in the gaa grounds from 10am  to 1pm to raise funds for the 6 of our minors who are participating in lip Sync.All clean clothes ,bedding linen,shoes in pairs,belts etc wil be appreciated. They do not take duvets or pillows.

 

Also on Saturday 29th September there will be a bake sale in Littleton Gaa from 10 to 1 to raise funds for Lip Sync. All support for these two fundraisers would be very much
