Sunday morning the girls headed back to Carrigtohill where they played Camross in the semi final. This match was hard fought and the girls  held on to their two point lead. The final was at  3 against Mallow which ended up in what was a thriller taking extra time to seperate the girls. The girls game from behind to draw the game in another  titanic battle.Extra time saw the girls trail again by 2 points with time up when the inspirational Kate Ralph fought and won the ball which she send towards goal and guided in by  Sarah Corcoran .The scenes of joy and celebrations was over whelming as Kate Ralph and Alisha Kearney lifted the trophy on behalf of the team.
