Club Plan & Development Update

posted 3 May 2016, 13:14 by Michelle Donnelly

The first review of the Club Plan 2015:2020 is now up on the website with significant progress made in its first year. It is great to see the first phase of the Development works completed with the Hurling wall finished and in use by all panels. Weather conditions are now favourable to allow for the second phase of works to commence which involves the levelling, realignment and drainage of the front pitch. Final amendments to the design of the Clubhouse are also currently being agreed by the Club and it is anticipated that this third phase of works will commence later this year. Following the success of the Strictly Come Dancing, the club has agreed to purchase two concrete dugouts for the far pitch and these are expected to be in place next month.

The Club would like to sincerely thank all those who have contributed to date to the Club Development ‘Pledge a Grand’ fundraising scheme. As the Club has not yet reached our required funding we would strongly encourage all other members, players and supporters of the Club to join our ‘Pledge a Grand’ campaign and assist the Club financially with this important project. We are actively working to encourage more households to join, as we need more households to get involved to make this project a reality.
Please contact John Corcoran (086 3883573), Finance Chairperson, Moycarkey Borris GAA Club or check out the Club website for details of how to contribute to the project.
