All players have received tickets for this fundraising event and tickets can also be purchased from Rita Clohessy, Liam Hackett, and in Bannon’s. We would like to ask all members of the club to please get behind this fundraiser.

Mid Junior Hurling League: The Junior B defeated Thurles Gaels on a scoreline of 1.20 to 2.08 last Friday night in Littleton.

Under 12 Football: Commiserations to our under 12 group 1 team who put up a brave battle against rivals Durlas Òg in the mid football semi final in Pairc na nÒg on Saturday afternoon. We lost out on a score line of 3.6 to 2 .4. Great credit must go to the lads as they battled to the end against a very strong Durlas Òg team. Congratulations to our under 12 group 3 team who played a great game of football against Durlas Òg in their semi final. They came from behind on 2 occasions to force a draw in a nail biting finish. They grew in confidence and ended the stronger team on a score line of 3.7 to 1.8. They have now booked themselves a place in the mid final against Thurles Gaels this Saturday 26th at 11pm in The Ragg. All support would be appreciated for this bunch of lads.

Under 14 Feile na Peil Semi-Final: Best of luck also to our Under 14 football panel who are playing Innane Rovers in the Peile County Semi Final this Saturday at 12pm in Annacarty.

St Patrick’s Day Float: Congratulations to our St. Patrick’s day float which involved a rematch from our successful battle in the big top between Eamonn the Don Donnelly and the Barber. We were awarded first prize in the comedy section and the over all memorial Pat Houlihan Trophy. The boxers were Kyle Ryan, Eoghan Sheridan, Thomas Whealan and Kyle Shelly. Joe O’Sullivan had the difficult task of refereeing the battle where Moycarkey came out on top.
