Moycarkey-Borris GAA Club Notes - January 14th 2013

Congratulations: The club would like to congratulate the Presentation Secondary School Senior Camogie team on their win in the Senior A Munster Schools Camogie final on Saturday last. The club was represented by Michaela Graham, Marianne Murphy and Laura Ralph. 

Finance Planning Meeting: A finance meeting will be held in the club rooms on Sunday evening next at 6pm to organise events for the coming year. All are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting. 

Membership and registration 2013: Club membership and registration for 2013 is now open and can be paid to John Kelly, Mary Shelly or Rita Clohessy 

Annual Club Newsletter: There is a limited number of newsletters available in local shops. 

First Aid Course: The club are hoping to hold a first aid course in conjunction with the Order of Malta. If you are interested in taking part please contact Mary Shelly before Wednesday 23rd of January. 

Mouth Guards: Mouth guards have now become compulsory for all juvenile football players. Players must wear a mouth guard for all football training sessions and matches.

County Board Draw: Congratulations to Veronica Lanigan who won 500 euro and John and Mary Woodhouse who also won 500 euro with the Camogie Club in the last draw. A reminder to all members of the draw please bring your account up to date as soon as possible.

Scor na bPaisti: The Scor na bPaisti competition will begin within the next few weeks so if anyone is interested they may take part in the following competitions, solo song, question time, figure dance, set dance, novelty act, recitation, ballad group and instrumental. The Scor na bPaisti competition is open to primary school students residing in the parish, if you are interested in taking part please make contact with either Mary on 0863190653 or Helen On 0863403371.
