Junior A hurling: Last Saturday night we were out in the second round of the championship where we met JK Brackens in Clonmore and won the match on a scoreline of 4 18 to 1 11. Well done to all.

County minor football: Congrats & well done to Tipperary minor footballers on winning the Munster Final in Killarney @ the weekend.

It was a magnificent achievement & especially Niall O Sullivan, corner back who now has a munster medal to add to his collection.

Fixtures: Minor A hurling, Wednesday evening @ 8pm, we play Loughmore Castleiney in Littleton in the first round of the hurling championship. All support welcome.

Please see Mid & County diary for all other fixtures.

Harry Ryan Tournament: Saturday next 9th of July is the day that has been spoken about & planned for quite a while in our Juvenile Club.  The Ryan family have generously put forward a beautiful cup in the memory of Harry. There is an u16 hurling tournament being played for this prestigious honour. It will begin @ 2pm. Teams taking part on the day are Clonoulty Rossmore, Borrisoleigh, Kilruane Mac Donaghs, Galmoy/Windgap, Na Piarsaigh, Limerick & Moycarkey Borris. Harry always had a huge interest in the Juvenile Club, he could be seen sitting in watching a juvenile match as often as an adult match, & would regularly talk about the importance of juveniles. His niece & nephew, Elaine & Colm are also putting forward a player of the tournament award in his honour. And hopefully on Saturday there will be a crowd befitting to his memory. First match is at 2pm with the final scheduled for 5pm. Refreshments will be served all day. All needed now is a bit of sunshine to help enjoy this special day. All are very welcome.
