County Senior hurling league: On Sunday last we played Kilruane MacDonaghs in Cloughjordan where we emerged winners on a scoreline of 1 17 to 12pts. This Sunday sees the next round where we play Roscrea at 3pm in Littleton.
U21A mid football final: This takes place on Wednesday night in Templetuohy @ 8pm under lights, where we play Loughmore Castleiney. Best of luck to all involved.
U21A Mid Hurling: The first round of this competition is on Saturday in Littleton @ 12pm where we play Holycross Ballycahill. All support welcome.
Minor A Mid Football: The season kicks off with our first match on Wednesday 23rd in Castleiney @ 6pm against Loughmore Castleiney. All support appreciated.
Moycarkey Borris will be represented in this year’s Scor Senior Munster Final in Templemore this Saturday evening. The Moycarkey Ballad group won both the Mid and County titles. The Munster Final will be held in Templemore this Saturday at 6pm. Tickets will be available for collection on Thursday in Clohessy's Garage. All tickets are €12. Scor na bPaisti:
Moycarkey had three acts in this years Mid Scor na bPaisti final but were unlucky not to progress to the County Final. We would like to thank all those involved in the preparation of these teams.
County Board Draw: As the last month of this year’s county board draw is in April, all outstanding monies due must be paid up before the new year’s draw begins. Please see your coordinator or any finance committee member to do so.
St Patricks Day Parade: Juvenile Club will take part in this year’s parade as usual. Anyone from u6s to u16s wishing to participate please be at St Marys Church @ 10.45am. All juveniles can be met in clubrooms after it.
Juveniles: U6s resumed training last Saturday morning in the Muintir na Tire hall, and will continue on there this Saturday @ 10.30am. All new children welcome! u8s and u10s train on Saturday morning in the field @ 10.30am. U12s on Saturday @ 2pm. Many thanks to Na Piarsaigh, limerick for travelling up last Saturday for the challenge.
