Moycarkey-Borris GAA Club Notes - March 19th 2013

MEMBERSHIP AND REGISTRATION: Club membership and registration for 2013 is now overdue and needs be paid to John Kelly, Mary Shelly or Rita Clohessy, immediately. 

POKER CLASSIC: Our annual Harry Ryan Poker Classic will take on Friday the 29th of March in the Muintir na Tire Hall at 9pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated. 

UNDER 21: U21 A Hurling versus Thurles Sarsfields on Saturday at 5pm in Holycross.

JUVENILE TRAINING: All juvenile groups are back training except the U6s who will return on Saturday 6th April. New members are welcome.

EASTER HURLING/FOOTBALL CAMP: There will be a three day camp in the hurling field from Tue 2nd April to Thur 4th April from 10 am to 1pm.It is open to all registered primary school boys and girls from 6 to 13 years of age. It will cost €20 per child and all children will receive a sliotar and football. If interested please contact Mary Shelly (086 3190653) asap.

CAMOGIE AND LADIES FOOTBALL: The Moycarkey GAA, Camogie and Ladies Football Clubs are running a fundraiser in the Munitir na Tire Hall on the 23rd of March, "Dispensary Dan and never again" will be performed on the night, tickets are €10 each and available from committee members. We would like to thank all those that supported our cake sale on St. Patrick's Day 

SCOR: Well done to all acts that participated in The County Senior Final, but unfortunately were unsuccessful on the night after competing well. 

MOUTH GUARDS: Mouth guards have now become compulsory for all juvenile football players. Players must wear a mouth guard for all football training sessions and matches.

CLUB GEAR: Club body warmers and track suit pants are currently in stock and available to buy from Catherine Gleeson.

FUN RUN: The GAA club in conjunction with St. Kevin's soccer club are holding a fun 10km run or a 5 km walk on Sunday the 14th of April, registration will take place from 9am in GAA grounds. Registration costs €10. For further details contact Geraldine Healy or Rita Clohessy
