Moycarkey-Borris GAA Club Notes - September 13th 2011

Senior Hurling: On Saturday evening last our senior hurlers played the semi- final of the Seamus O’Riain cup in Holycross against Boherlahan Dualla where we qualified for the final finishing on a scoreline of 3 21 to 1 09. Well done to all involved.

All Ireland Minor Football: The club would like to wish the very best of luck to Niall O Sullivan & the Tipperary minor football panel on Sunday next in their All Ireland against Dublin.

Fixtures: Please check mid & county board diary for fixtures.

Juveniles: U6' s & U8's - Well done to all who took part in the mini blitz in Durlas Og last Saturday morning.

U10's - Congratulations to this panel who won all their matches in the Moyle rovers blitz also on Saturday morning. Many thanks to Moyle Rovers for their hospitality.

U12's- Apologies for last week, this was omitted. Well done to the group 4 team who were in the county quarter final on the Saturday morning against Roscrea, who were the stronger team on the day.

U14's - First shield match this week against JK Brackens U16's - A very strong performance finished this seasons hurling against Holycross Ballycahill on Thursday evening last in the mid semi-final where Holycross won by 4 pts saw them through to the Mid Final.  Many thanks to all the panel and their selectors for their effort & commitment all year.

Bucket collection: Volunteers are still needed for the bucket collection on Friday 30th Sept in conjunction with Autism Ireland to make it a success.
