Moycarkey-Borris lose out in Kilmacud 7s Semi-Final

Moycarkey-Borris lost out to the eventual winners Ballyboden St. Enda's (Dublin) in the Kilmacud Hurling 7s Semi-Final on Saturday last.

Moycarkey had done well to reach this stage with victories over Eire Og Ennis (Clare), Faughs (Dublin) and the 2012 champions Mullagh of Galway to win Group 4. This set up a tough Quarter-Final with Templederry Kenyons which Moycarkey won on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-9.

Alas, Ballyboden proved too strong for us with a team backboned by members of the current Dublin Senior Hurling panel and we gave second best on this occasion on a scoreline of 1-7 to 2-13.

Many thanks to the players and backroom team for their efforts throughout the day and for the supporters who played their part also during our run to the semi-final.
