Moycarkey Borris Camogie and Ladies Football Club Notes - April 14th 2015

Under 16 Camogie

On Monday evening last Moycarkey Borris Under 16 team hosted Borrisoleigh in the next round of their Championship. Borrisoleigh defeated Moycarkey Borris on the night. The Moycarkey-Borris team team lined out as follows - Megan Woodlock, Maria Lanigan, Caitlin Donnelly, Amy McGovern, Claire Ryan, Saoirse O'Meara, Doireanne Kelly, Niamh Woodlock, Jessica Hayes, Gemma Ryan, Lorna Ryan, Clodagh Fallon. Subs: Roisin Donnelly, Amy Cummins, Rachael Dowling, Zoe O'Meara, Emma Dowling, Emma Shelly, Michaella McKelvey.

Under 14 Camogie

The Moycarkey-Borris Under 14 Camogie team continued their Tipperary Camogie Championship with a home game against New Inn on Wednesday, April 8th. Moycarkey Borris tried hard but New Inn were the stronger team on the day. Moycarkey Borris will now look forward to their next game in the Championship against Knockavilla. Moycarkey-Borris team: Emma Shelly, Michaela McKelvey, Roisin Donnelly, Aoife Walsh, Amy McGovern, Clodagh Fallon, Zoe O’Meara, Zoe McKenna, Emma Dowling, Aoife Ryan, Siobhan Carroll, Leah Walsh. Subs: Aoife Dunphy, Lauryn O’Sullivan and Queva O’Meara.

Under 12 Camogie

On Saturday last Moycarkey’s Under 12 Camogie team were invited to a blitz hosted by St. Mary’s, Clonmel. There was just the host club and Moycarkey in attendance so both teams played a match finishing with both teams level. Moycarkey-Borris team: Chloe Cummins, Queva O’Meara, Ciara Coffey, Sophie Long, Kate Fitzgibbon, Laura Costigan, Emma O’Sullivan, Grainne Stapleton, Rebecca Hogan, Sarah Sheridan, Michelle Flanagan and Amy Callanan.

Training

Training will continue for all teams with texts going to parents to notify them of the relevant times.

Tipperary Under 16 Ladies Football Team

Congratulations to Rachael Dowling and the Tipperary Ladies Football Under 16 team on their win over Clare in the Munster Ladies Football Championship on Sunday last.

Moycarkey Borris Club 5 Year Plan Launch

On Friday, April 17th Moycarkey Borris GAA, Camogie and Ladies Football clubs will launch their 5 year plan in the Moycarkey Community Sports Complex at 7.45pm. Guest speaker on the night is Liam Sheedy, 2010 All Ireland winning Tipperary Hurling Manager. All members are invited to attend and refreshments will be served.
