Moycarkey Borris hosted a stronger Toomevara in the “Tipperary Water” County Hurling League on Sunday last. The final score was Toomevara 4-18 Moycarkey Borris 0-18.

O'Mahoney Print Mid Tipp Junior Hurling League Div 1

In the O'Mahoney Print Mid Tipp Junior Hurling League, Moycarkey Borris recorded their second win when they met Thurles Sarsfields on Saturday last. The game finished Moycarkey Borris 2-18 Thurles Sarsfields 1-7.

Congratulations to Moycarkey Borris Minor A team who recorded their second victory on Thursday night last in Littleton against Na Sairsealaigh Og on a score line of Moycarkey Borris 5-09 Sars 1-06.

Table Quiz
Moycarkey Borris GAA Club will hold a Table Quiz in Bannon’s, Two Mile Borris on Friday, April 21st at 9.30pm. All proceeds from the night will be used for the current expenditure in the Club. On the night, the Cahill Cup and Under 21 B Football Medals (2016) will be presented to the players.


Under 12 Football
Commiserations to Moycarkey Borris who fell short by a point when they played JK Brackens in the Mid Tipperary Under 12 Group 1 Football Championship on a score line JK Brackens 1-6 Moycarkey Borris 2-2.


Mid Tipperary Under 14 Peil Final
Commiserations to Moycarkey Borris who were defeated by JK Brackens in the Mid Tipperary Under 14 Peil Final on a score line JK Brackens 2-5 Moycarkey Borris 2-2 on Saturday last.


County Board Draw
Willie Dempsey was presented with his car, first prize in the Tipperary GAA County Board Draw on Friday last in Bannon's, Two Mile Borris. This is the 24th Car Winner that Moycarkey Borris has had since the commencement of the County Board Draw twenty nine years ago. Congratulations also, to promoter Tim Kelly who also received the promoters prize. This was the last draw of the current year and coordinators will be in touch shortly to renew membership for the next year. Please support the draw as this is a valuable source of income to the club and county.

Congratulations to Michael Keating and Gerard Costello who both won prizes in the Confined Draw on the night.


Munster Under 15A Post Primary Schools Hurling Competition - Hugh O'Dowd Cup Final
Congratulations to Thurles CBS who overcame St Flannan's College in the Munster Under 15A Post Primary Schools Hurling Competition (Hugh O'Dowd Cup) on a score line of Thurles CBS 1-12 St Flannan's College 0-14. Moycarkey Borris were represented on the CBS team by Kyle Ryan and Robbie Keane Butler.


County Tipperary Under 17 Panels
Congratulations to Rhys Shelly who was part of the Tipperary Under 17 Football panel which defeated Clare in the Munster Championship on Tuesday last.
 
We look forward to seeing Rory Darmody, John Kirwan and Zach Jackson wearing the Tipperary Jersey when they line out with the Tipperary Under 17 Hurlers on April 18th.

In their round two game Moycarkey Borris Junior Camogie team met a stronger Boherlahan Dualla side.
