Moycarkey Borris GAA Club Notes - 17th April 2017

Table Quiz
Moycarkey Borris GAA Club will hold a Table Quiz in Bannon’s, Two Mile Borris on Friday, April 21st at 9.30pm. All proceeds from the night will be used for the current expenditure in the Club. On the night, the Cahill Cup and Under 21 B Football Medals (2016) will be presented to the players.

2017 Cahill Cup
Moycarkey Borris will play Holycross Ballycahill in the Cahill Cup on Thursday, May 6th at 7.30pm in Littleton.

Minor Football Championship
Commiserations to Moycarkey Borris Minor B team who were defeated by Drom and Inch in the Mid Tipperary Minor B Football Championship on Thursday night last. Their next round game is against Boherlahan Dualla on Wednesday, April 19th at 7pm in Littleton.

The next round game for Moycarkey Borris in the Mid Tipperary Minor A Football Championship is against JK Brackens Óg on Wednesday, April 19th at 7pm in Clonmore.

Under 16 Football Championship
Congratulations to Moycarkey Borris who overcame Drom and Inch in the Mid Tipperary Under 16 A Football Championship on Monday on a score line of Moycarkey Borris 2-9 Drom and Inch 0-8.

Under 14 Football Championship
Congratulations to Moycarkey Borris Under 14 team who defeated Gortnahoe Glengoole in the Mid Tipperary GAA Under 14 Football Championship.

Under 10
Well done to Moycarkey Borris Under 10 hurling team who played Gortnahoe in Gortnahoe on Saturday last, while on Monday, April 17th the football team hosted Clonoulty in a challenge game.

Easter Camp
Well done to all the Moycarkey Borris players who attended the Easter Camp. As always this camp was a big success and everyone who attended had a great time. We look forward to seeing many of the members return for the Cúl Camp which will be held in July the week of 3rd to 7th. Application forms will be given to members at a later date.

County Tipperary Minor team
Congratulations to Anthony McKelvey who started in the full forward position on the Tipperary Minor Hurling team when they played Limerick in Semple Stadium in the Quarter Final of the Munster Minor Hurling Championship. Tipperary now proceed to a Semi Final which will be played at the end of June.

Moycarkey Borris Camogie and Ladies Football Club
Under 12 Camogie

Our Under 12 Camogie team have returned to training and on Saturday last they hosted Ballybacon in a 10-a-side challenge game. Well done to the players who put up an excellent performance.
