Moycarkey Borris GAA Club Notes - 4th July 2016

Senior Hurling
Moycarkey Borris will play Killenaule in the Dr Fogarty Cup Semi Final on Friday July 8th at 7:30pm in Killenaule.

Intermediate Hurling
Boherlahan Dualla are our opponents in the Roadstone Mid Tipp Intermediate Hurling Championship on Saturday, July 9th at 7.30pm in Holycross.

Junior B Hurling
Commiserations to Moycarkey Borris who were defeated by Upperchurch Drombane in the Thurles Wholesale Cash and Carry Mid Tipperary GAA Junior B Hurling Championship on Saturday last

Junior B Football
Boherlahan Dualla defeated Moycarkey Borris in the Jim and Anne Kennedy Mid Tipperary Junior B Football Championship on Sunday last.

Minor Hurling
Moycarkey-Borris will play Na Sairsealaigh Og in the Mid Tipperary Minor A Hurling Championship on Wednesday, July 13th in Littleton at 7.30pm

Under 16
Following on from their Under 16 County Football Semi Final victory, Moycarkey Borris will now play Inane Rovers in the County Final in Leahy Park, Cashel on Saturday, July 9th at 1.45pm.
In the Hurling Championship the Under 16 B team were defeated by Drom Inch in the Ragg on Monday last, June 27th.

Under 14
Commiserations to our Under 14 team who were defeated by Holycross Ballycahill in the Mid Tipperary Under 14A Hurling Championship.

Under 12
Congratulations to Moycarkey-Borris Under 12 Group 4 Hurling team who defeated Clonakenny in the Mid Championship. Both teams, Group 1 and 4 are now looking forward to the knock out stages of the competition. Group 4 will play in the Quarter Final this Tuesday, July 2nd and Group 1 will play their Semi Final against Holycross Ballycahill on Tuesday, July 12th in Littleton.

Under 14, 15 and 16 County Tipperary Football Teams
Well done to the Moycarkey Borris players who represented their club on the County Tipperary Under 14, 15 and 16 Teams. The Tipperary Under 15 team won the Shield Final and Kevin Hayes and Darren Flood were on the panel. Kyle Shelly was on the Under 14 team and Jack Fallon was on the Under 16 team who were defeated in the Shield Final by Cork.

Cul Camp
Best wishes to all the Moycarkey Borris members who are taking part in the Kellogg’s Cul Camp this week.

Senior and Juvenile Club Membership 2016 – Notice of Closure
Club Membership is closing on the 30th of July 2016 and for the small number of persons (adult & juvenile) who have not paid their membership, they have until then to do so. Those who have not paid their membership by the deadline are not members of the club for 2016.

Camogie and Ladies Football Club
Lidl Ireland are running an in-store competition inviting shoppers to nominate their club to receive a cash prize of €1,000. The overall winners being decided on who receives the most nominations. We would encourage all Lidl shoppers to nominate Moycarkey Borris Camogie & Ladies Football Club when they are in shopping.

Enda McDonnell Tournament
Moycarkey Borris Ladies Football Team competed in the Annual Enda McDonnell Tournament, which is part of the Thurles Sports Festival and were in hard luck to be defeated by Thurles in the Plate Final.

Under 13 Camogie Summer League
Congratulations to our Under 13 team who overcame Carrick Swans in the Under 13 Tipperary Camogie Summer League.
Moycarkey Borris Team - Michelle Flanagan, Ciara Coffey, Maria Kennedy, Grainne Stapleton, Emma O'Sullivan, Chloe Cummins, Laura Costigan, Sophie Long, Eva Morrissey, Rebecca Hogan, Orla Ryan, Ellen Maher, Rachel Ralph and Caoimhe O'Sullivan.

Under 12
Following on from the Under 12 Munster Camogie Blitz in Semple Stadium Moycarkey Borris Under 12 team will travel to Croke Park on Monday, August 8th to take part in the “Camán to Croker” day.

Under 8
There will be no training for our Under 8’s on Wednesday, July 6th as Cul Camp is on this week.
The Under 8 team will travel to Rockwell Rovers School on Saturday, July 9th to take part in a Tipperary Ladies Football Blitz. Team are asked to be there for 10.15am.

Tipperary Ladies Football
Congratulations to Queva O'Meara and Emma Shelly who were part of the Under 14 Tipperary Ladies Football Team who defeated Meath in the Under 14 All Ireland Final on Saturday last.
