Moycarkey Borris Strictly Come Dancing

The current playing field in Moycarkey Borris GAA Club saw the benefit of the Strictly Come Dancing funds on Saturday last when two new dugouts arrived at pitch side. Teams will now enjoy the benefits of the dugouts on match days.
County Board Draw
The first Tipperary GAA County Board Draw was last Friday night in the Anner Hotel. Moycarkey Borris had two winners – Tom Kelly in the Lucky Dip and Deirdre McLeish in the confined draw.
The club is encouraging all promoters to gather any outstanding monies and renew memberships for the Draw for 2016/2017. Thank you to all the members who support the County Board Draw and we look forward to your continued support.

Senior Hurling
Moycarkey Borris will play Drom-Inch in the CM Signs Cahill Cup Quarter Final in the Ragg on Saturday, June 11th at 7.00pm. All support is welcome.
In the Dr. Fogarty Cup Moycarkey Borris have drawn Killenaule and this will be played at a later date to be confirmed.

Cul Camp
Moycarkey Borris will host the Kellogg’s Cul Camp from Monday July 4th to Friday July 8th inclusive. This is open to members up to 12 years of age. Application forms are available from Juvenile Secretary, Mary Shelly.

Membership
Membership for the GAA Club in now overdue. Anyone who has not paid their membership can do so by contacting the Senior Club Registrars Kieran Morris or Daniel Kirby or Juvenile Club Registrar Mary Shelly.

Camogie and Ladies Football Club
Lidl Ireland are running an in store competition inviting shoppers to nominate their club to receive a cash prize of €1,000. The overall winners being decided on who receives the most nominations. We would encourage all Lidl shoppers to nominate Moycarkey Borris Camogie & Ladies Football Club when they are in shopping.

Under 14 Camogie
Commiserations to Moycarkey Borris Under 14 team who were defeated by Borrisoleigh on Monday, May 30th.
Moycarkey panel – Emma Shelly, Ciara Coffey, Emma Dowling, Chloe Cummins, Queva O’Meara, Zoe O’Meara, Enya Maher, Laura Costigan, Sarah Hayes, Zoe McKenna, Eva Morrissey, Sophie Long.

Under 10 Ladies Football
Well done to our Under 10 team who travelled to Holycross Ballycahill Ladies Football Club to play in their second football blitz on Saturday last. 21 girls played some very competitive games in very hot conditions. Our two teams played Templemore, Thurles and Holycross. Thanks to our supporters who travelled and to Holycross for hosting the blitz.
