Moycarkey Borris GAA Club Notes - 6th March 2017

“Tipperary Water” County Hurling League Division 2 Group 1
Moycarkey Borris will commence their County Hurling League campaign next Sunday, March 12th at 12 noon in Templederry who they take on hosts, Templederry Kenyons in round one.

Tipperary GAA County Board Draw
The March County Board GAA Draw was held in The HiB, Nenagh on Friday last. Willie Dempsey, Moycarkey Borris won first prize Renault Car or €15,000 and Tim Kelly, promoter was awarded with €500. Congratulations to both on their win and to Tim for his hard work promoting the draw which is a valuable source of income to club. To anyone who has outstanding monies due please bring them up to date with your promoter or the draw coordinator, Margaret Ryan as a the draw is due to close shortly for this year.

Membership
Membership for the 2017 season is now open and can be paid to Senior Club Registrars Kieran Morris or James Power or Senior Club Secretary, Michelle McKelvey or Juvenile Club Registrar Mary Shelly. The membership rates are as follows - Juvenile (Single) Player - €30; Minor (Single) Player - €30; Adult (Single) Player - €50; Family (2 Adults / 2 Boys*) - €70 (Note: Each additional boy is €15); Non-Player / Mentors - €40.

Commiserations to Micheal Treacy, Sean Hayes, Darragh O’Dwyer, Patrick Dowling (Sub Rhys McCarthy) in the Question time at the Mid Scór na bPáistí Final which was held in Holycross on Saturday last.

Tipperary County Board GAA Cul Camp Coaches
Tipperary GAA are recruiting part time coaches for their Cul Camp at the moment, full details are available on www.moycarkeyborris.com

Moycarkey Borris Camogie and Ladies Football Club
Moycarkey Borris Camogie and Ladies Football Club will hold their Annual Cake Sale/Raffle on St. Patrick’s Day. Anyone who would like to donate items for the raffle can do so by contacting a club officer, soft toys in good condition are also required.
