Moycarkey Borris GAA Club Notes 18/05/2014

Mid Senior Hurling Championship: Following a loss on Sunday last we exited the Mid Senior Hurling Championship, JK Brackens defeated us on a scoreline of 1.21 to 17 points.

Mid Minor A Football: We were defeated by Thurles Sarsfields in the Mid Minor A Football Semi-Final.

Mid Intermediate Hurling: We play Holycross/Ballycahill in the Mid Intermediate Championship on Sunday at 12pm in Boherlahan.

Cahill Cup: We play Boherlahan in the 1st round of the Cahill Cup in Littleton on Tuesday 27th of May.

Mid Junior B Hurling League: We defeated Killea in the Semi-final of the Mid Junior B League, we play the winners of Boherlahan/Dualla and Gortnahoe/Glengoole in the Final, date and venue to be confirmed.

Mid U14 A Football: We defeated JK Brackens in the Mid U14A championship last Sunday morning on a scoreline of 9.8 to 7 points.  Well done to all involved

Tipperary v Limerick Tickets: Tickets for the Tipperary v Limerick match will be available from local Centra & Supervalue Shops and also from Tickets.ie

County Board Draw: The new draw is due to commence later this month, we ask all promoters to make contacts with their members to ensure they have the opportunity to rejoin.

Club Meeting: The Monthly Club meeting will take place on Wednesday 28th May in the Clubrooms.

Fundraising: Our under 14s are representing Tipperary in the Peil na nOg on the 26th, 27th and 28th of June in Mayo in order to raise money we are holding a raffle. We will be selling tickets at 5 euro a line with some great prizes including 2 all-Ireland tickets with overnight accommodation, a 32-inch television and lots more. The players and coaches will be selling the tickets and we look forward to your support.
