Junior B Football Championship
Commiserations to Moycarkey Borris who were defeated by Boherlahan Dualla in the Jim and Anne Kennedy Mid Tipperary Junior B Football Championship on Saturday last.

Upcoming Fixtures

Under 15 Team
Commiserations to Moycarkey Borris Under 15 team who were defeated by Upperchurch Drombane in the Mid Tipperary Under 15 B Hurling Shield.

Under 11 Team
Congratulations to Moycarkey Borris Under 11 Group 4 team who defeated Thurles Gaels in the Mid Tipperary Under 11 Group 4 Hurling Shield and on Saturday they played a stronger Boherlahan Dualla in the same competition.

Under 8 Team

Well done to Moycarkey Borris Under 8 team who travelled to Durlas Óg to play their host in a match.

Buster Night Fundraiser
On Saturday, October 7th, Moycarkey Borris GAA Club will hold a fundraising buster night in Thurles Greyhound Stadium. All monies raised from the night will go the development fund. Tickets for the buster night are available from any club officer and everyone’s support will be greatly appreciated. Tickets are €10 and include admission to the Greyhound Stadium on the night.
On the night there will a race to identify the “Fastest Man in the Parish” and the competitors will be Niall Heffernan, Tom Hayes, Michael Cussen, JJ Darmody, Rory Ryan, Chris McCullagh, Kieran Cummins, James Power and Gerry McGuire. Each runner will require your support in their journey so get your buster tickets from the club and join us on the night.

Paddy Cooney Tournament
This tournament was postponed last year due to the pitch development in the club grounds. This tournament is for Under 10’s and we welcome clubs from other counties to compete in the club grounds in the memory of Paddy Cooney, who was a member of the club. The tournament will go ahead on Saturday, 7th October.

Moycarkey Borris Camogie and Ladies Football Club
Under 10 Camogie

Well done to Moycarkey Borris Under 10 Camogie team who travelled to Borrisoleigh for the Tomas Max camogie tournament on Fri evening last. We were beaten by 1 point in the final by Toomevara. Thanks to Borrisoleigh and the Max family for the invitation.

Tipperary Ladies Football Team
Congratulations to Catriona Walsh who captured an All Ireland Medal when she represented her County in the TG4 All Ireland Ladies Football Intermediate Championship Final on Sunday last. The club organised a bus of juvenile players and adult members to support Catriona & the Tipperary team.
