Moycarkey Borris GAA Notes - December 10th 2012

Club Convention: Moycarkey-Borris GAA Convention was held on Friday 7th of December. The officers elected were:- 
 
Honourary President: Jim Leahy, 

Honourary Vice Presidents : Fr. George Bourke, Fr. Joe Tynan, Sean Barry, Paddy Bourke (R), Billy Dowling, Jimmy Fogarty, Liam Hennessy, Sam Melbourne, John O Grady, Margaret Ryan, Frank Gooney, Paddy Coman, fr. Richard O'Keeffe and Billy Molumby.

Both the chairman and secretary paid tribute to all those involved in preparing teams for the past 12 months and also to those that helped with administration, fundraising and field maintenance.

County Board Draw and Presentation Night: The presentation to Michael and Mary Treacy, Cooleenbee will take place at 9.30 on Friday 14th of December in Darmody's Bar, Littleton. Following the presentation the draw for December will take place. We would like to ask all members of the county board draw to please bring their dues up to date. 

Annual Club Newsletter: The 2012 annual newsletter is currently available in all shops in the parish. A great Christmas present at the bargain price of €8. Another great read for all by editor Ed Donnelly.

Membership and registration 2013: Club membership and registration for 2013 is now open and can be paid to John Kelly, Mary Shelly or Rita Clohessy. 

Ladies Football U18 B Plate Final: Congratulations to the U18 Ladies Football team who won the County final adding further to a great year for the ladies club. 

Church Gate Collection: The annual church gate collection takes place this weekend in the churches of the parish. All help greatly appreciated.
