Moycarkey Borris Notes 3rd September


Congratulations to our seniors on retaining their senior status in a very tough match against Burgess. They worked hard and thanks to a great team performance came away with a 2 point victory.

Congratulations to our Minors who defeated Upperchurch in the Mid Final on Sunday evening . They now face Cahir in the County semi Final this Wednesday evening at 6.30 in Clonoulty

Our Junior A and B teams were also in action this weekend with our B team defeated by Moyne Templetuohy on Friday evening and our A team having a great win over Drom on Sunday morning in littleton.

Congrats to our under 14 and under 16 boys who both secured their place in their mid finals with wins over Gortnahoe and Jk brackens respectively.

Our under 12 boys are also out in action this week with our 12B team home to Gortnahoe on Tuesday evening and our 12D team away to Moyne on Wednesday night. Both matchs are at 6.30.

Congrats to our under 16 camoige team who had a great win over Cahir in the 16B County Final in the Ragg.

Our U14A football team recorded a win against Fethard on Tuesday evening in Littleton in very windy conditions.

On Sat our U14A Camogie team travelled to play Silvermines and won the last of the league rounds. Huge congratulations to our U14D camogie team on winning their Co. Final on Saturday in the Camogie grounds. Thanks to Newport for a challenging game with both teams showing great skills

Congratulations to our ladies football team who had a good win over St Pats in Junior A football on Sunday evening in littleton

The county board draw is back up and we encourage all members to join as this is a major income for the club. This can be done through any of the promoters or club committee and can be purchased by either cash, cheque, direct debit or online by telephone gaa office 050422702 or 0866056539 or you can call into GAA office through entrance at back door.

Our club lotto is also back up and running every Monday evening with a Jackpot of 20,000.Tickets can be purchased in all the shops in the parish, through our ticket sellers on the ground and also online.
