Congratulations to club man Joe Sullivan who was appointed Senior Mid Bórd Chairman. This is a great honor for Joe his family and his club.
The senior AGM took place Saturday night 19th after our annual mass for deceased members of the GAA. Congratulations to Thomas Flanagan who is our new senior Chairman with Joe Moran stepping back into the vice chairmans role.
Moycarkey ladies Camogie and Football
Our under 14 girls finished up training for 2020 on Saturday morning after a very successful year. Thanks to John and Mary Corcoran, Catriona Walsh, Stephan Dowling and Lauren Beason for their hard work and dedication. They presented the girls with new club tops from kieran bergin sports which were very much appreciated.
Fundraising The ladies club are holding a sponsored Walkaton the 1st and 2nd of January. There is 12 leaders and each leader will organise a team of walkers. If anyone would like to join our event please contact any of the below leaders to join their team. You will then be given a sponsorship card and all you have to do is walk 5km over 2 days. Our leaders are as follows Sharon Ralph Karen Mullins Catriona Walsh Helen Dowling Sarah Slattery Deborah Curtis Úna O’Sullivan Kevin Timmons Brendan Carroll Catherine Gleeson Mary Corcoran Maeve Hackett. All funds raised will go to the ladies camóige and Football teams. Their will also be a go fund me page for anyone who would like to support our ladies. All support very much appreciated.
